Australian Bank Account - An Update.
After my inquiry about a Wespac bank account last week, I received the pack they sent me the following day and mailed the form back early this week. On Tuesday I received a phone call to check that I’d received the pack and ask whether I had any questions, and yesterday they called to tell me they’ve received my form and they’ll process it immediately.
The two phone calls didn’t take much of their time or effort, but they are such great touches and disappointingly I don’t think it’s the sort of service I’d get from a British bank. Anyhow, Westpac have climbed a notch or two in my estimation.
